Neuland-Park
Located on the Rhine
The Rhine forms almost eight kilometres of Leverkusen’s western border. As a city on the Rhine it has always had close links to this river in the past and continues to do so to this day.
The nationally and internationally acclaimed 2005 National Garden Show “Discovering new land” once again linked the centre of Leverkusen directly with the Rhine. A beautiful park landscape has been created on the Rhine in Leverkusen-Wiesdorf covering an area of about twenty-five hectares.Far more than half a million guests visited this park area during the National Garden Show.
This park created for the show is definitely well worth the visit. Rhine cuisine and a landing jetty for excursion boats provide additional leisure activities.
